as he prepares to travel from Virginia to California to attend a wedding, I did some research on child carseats on airplanes, and that was when I came across this product. It's incredibly simple product, but effective! We have a 19 month old son who hates to be held, love to walk, do not hold your hand and is easily distracted. makes moving through any area of pedestrian traffic very difficult (i.e.. airports). but when we put him in his car seat (in our minivan), he is as content as could be. He can just sit there, sucking your thumb, look around and enjoy the ride. and this duplicate product for us, making our time very easy airport. I tied the traveller car seat before leaving for the airport, check-in all our luggage curbside, wrapped the child from the child car seat in our minivan for the new car seat tied to traveler (I bought a new car seat for the trip--Cosco Scenera, $ 39 at Wal-Mart. the venue is pretty thin to fit through airplane aisles!), parked the minivan in a long-term parking lot while his wife waited with the child and is back and he rolled through the airport like a piece of hand luggage. It couldn't be easier. It was not even get through security checkpoints that hardjust took the child, strapped by the traveller car seat, put items on the conveyor belt and walked through the metal detector with baby. reset everything on the other side of the checkpoint and kept moving. all the time, our son never made a peep. He loved our movement through the airport like this..
