There is a knitted mosquito net inside the window, which actually just cut out, because my climate we had no problems with insects at all. I don't like taking my little one mosquito net to be able to see where we were going, even if you live in a climate where the Sun is very bright even on cooler days, the mesh may act as a further. Anyway, it was so easy to cut out that you don't need to feel somehow stuck with this mesh insert.
